With over 30 years experience of using the power of football to positively impact people’s lives, Rochdale AFC Community Trust have delivered a Sports College programme for the last decade.
Starting off as a boys Futsal programme, the programme has grown significantly to incorporate a boys 11 a side programme alongside provision for girls.
Students have gone on to attend university both in the UK and abroad and have forged careers in sport, youth work and education either as an apprentice or as a post graduate.
From 2023/24 season, the Sports College will expand again, moving into Heywood Sports Village alongside the Rochdale AFC Academy as the only provider of 16+ education officially sanctioned by Rochdale AFC, the LFE and CEFA League.
